LCD

Can it be considered a sign from God that my 12 year old 32 inch TV is shutting off randomly and not working properly a week before the tax refund will be deposited into my account? There's a really nice 37" LCD with HDTV at WalMart just calling my name...

    Do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH, and by the way, my refund was due to be deposited by Friday, Feb. 21 and I got it on the 15th! So keep a look out -- looks like they are ahead of schedule!

    Your eyes will thank you: LCD TVs don't have the same nasty emissions that conventional CRT-based televisions have.

    Lol - you're in the same boat as me ... I've been eyeing up HD tellies but would need :

    Blu-ray player
    New speakers
    New couch
    Wii

    to go with them. My reason for change is more a sense of "New Toy Needed!" though, my tv is still behaving itself.
