Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all!
It is the Year of Possibilities for me and my friends...
despite the woes in the economy the possibilities are endless in a lot of other areas.

Some stuff about me

I love dragons along the lines of T.R.R. Tolkein or Anne McCaffrey
I love to read. I read voraciously. Some favorites: John Irving, Greg Bear, Michael Crichton, JK Rowling, Dean Koontz, Robert Jordan
I'm an active member of St. John's Metropolitan Community Church. I've been running the sound booth for morning services for a bit now and am involved with some of the leadership training as well.
I always wanted to be involved in writing in some format but tried to be practical and got a degree in Science instead of English. Now I've written and developed training material and currently work as a training manager for a large corporation.
I swore I would never be a teacher then ended up as a trainer. There is a difference (at least in my mind). I trained adults for 1-3 weeks and then sent them on their merry way.
I grew up with a dog and always considered myself a dog person but now am owned by a cat. When I moved in, Cali adopted me as her human and she is so small, fiesty yet sad, that I couldn't resist.
I'm a geek. i love bad sci fi movies and a good sci fi book
